How do I pair a phone?
Open PhoneWatch on your caregiver device and tap "Generate a code." Share that code with the person you're monitoring — they enter it in the PhoneWatch app on their phone. Once entered, the phones are linked.
Does the monitored person know they're being watched?
Yes. The pairing process includes a consent screen that the monitored person must acknowledge. Monitoring only begins after they agree. They can unpair at any time from within the app.
Why isn't data showing up on the dashboard?
Make sure the PhoneWatch app is running on the monitored phone with battery optimization disabled. The app runs as a foreground service — if Android has put it to sleep, data will stop reporting.
Can I monitor more than one phone?
Yes. Tap "Add a phone to watch over" on the dashboard to generate another pairing code. Each linked phone appears in the dropdown selector.
Is the web panel the same as the app?
Yes — the caregiver dashboard is a web panel that works in any browser. The PhoneWatch app on your caregiver device simply opens this panel in a WebView for convenience.
